Pedestrian Plan Partner Agency Survey now available

May 28, 2020 at 2:00pm

The Survey will allow partner agencies to map their key priorities on or near Caltrans facilities, to ensure that the Pedestrian Plan is in alignment with local priorities.

The Caltrans District 4 Pedestrian Plan Partner Survey ( has been released. The purpose of the survey is to help the Pedestrian Plan align with local needs and priorities. Partner agencies (including counties, cities, transit agencies, special districts, and any agency with transportation planning authority in the nine-county Bay Area) are being asked to use the survey to map their top pedestrian priorities as they interact with Caltrans facilities. New users will need to register, and may submit an unlimited number of pedestrian or bicycle needs on the map. Although bicycle needs are welcome and may be used in future Caltrans planning efforts, we are emphasizing pedestrian needs, as they will inform our final Pedestrian Plan. For inclusion in the Pedestrian Plan, please enter your data by July 31, 2020.

For agency users who have questions or experience any issues, please contact Greg Currey (

A public survey will be announced shortly, and will be conducted separately.
