D10 CAT Plan Press Release

District 10 has sent out its press release inviting feedback on the D10 active transportation webmap survey. We encourage the public to participate in the survey by identifying locations on an interactive map where there are bicyclist and pedestrian needs on or close to state highways. This survey is also available in Spanish.

The engagement strategy for the Active Transportation Plan is heavily focused on reaching our regionally-defined disadvantaged communities. Many of the in-person outreach events were in targeted disadvantaged communities throughout the District.

D5 Active Transportation Plan Under Development

The Caltrans District 5 Active Transportation Plan will focus prioritizing bicycle and pedestrian needs on, across, and parallel to, the State Highway System throughout the California Central Coast.  This includes 29 routes totaling over 1000 miles through the District.
